Baseball Game Preview: Colony Titans vs. Los Altos Conquerors

For the second straight game, Colony will face off against Los Altos. The Titans will head out to square off against the Conquerors at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Colony is coming into the game hot, having won their last 11 games.

Colony's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Los Altos, sneaking past 1-0.

Not much got past Steven Gonzales, who gave up just two hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Los Altos off the board. Gonzales has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Colony saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Sifuentes, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

Colony hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive contests.

Colony's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-3.
