Malcolm entered their tilt with Lincoln Christian on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They never let the Crusaders get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Clippers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Mason Wisnieski made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple and one RBI.

Wisnieski wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Duzik, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Malcolm's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Lincoln Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Malcolm wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Douglas County West on the 11th. As for Lincoln Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-4 victory against Roncalli Catholic on the 10th.
