Central Bucks West (Doylestown, Pa.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as they scored a touchdown with with less than a minute remaining in the second quarter, bringing the team to victory over
Central Bucks East (Doylestown, Pa.) 42-34.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the second quarter, the Bucks were up 34-28 at the half.
Central Bucks West grew its lead to 14 points entering the fourth quarter. CBW's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown catch by
Corey Schott.
The Bucks led by as many as 14 points before the Patriots cut into the final margin.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 40-20 win for Central Bucks West.
The loss comes after Central Bucks East defeated Hatboro-Horsham 37-19 last week.
In a Suburban One - Continental game next week Central Bucks West (5-1) takes on Quakertown, and Central Bucks East (2-4) will go up against Souderton also in a Suburban One - Continental game.
