Volleyball Recap: Steinbrenner's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Steinbrenner entered their tilt with Santa Fe on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

Steinbrenner's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emily Civitillo led the charge by getting 25 assists and five digs. Civitillo is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 21 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Tschopp, who had 11 digs and two assists.

Steinbrenner's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Santa Fe, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Steinbrenner has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Archbishop McCarthy on the 30th. As for Santa Fe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Doral Academy on the 30th.
