Baseball Recap: East Liverpool Takes a Loss

East Liverpool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Indian Creek Redskins, falling 23-1. If the Potters were looking for revenge after losing 12-2 to the Redskins when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East Liverpool saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dom Johnson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

East Liverpool's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Indian Creek, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Liverpool will head out to square off against Toronto at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Potters will need to watch out since the Red Knights have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Indian Creek, they will venture away from home to challenge St. Francis de Sales at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
