Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, Va.) defensive end has otherworldly talent.

Heading into The Opening, it was no secret that Josh Sweat was special.

The Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, Va.) senior defensive end is known for his special blend of size and athleticism, and is a big reason why Oscar Smith debuted at No. 24 in the MaxPreps Preseason Top 25 Early Contenders.

After today's performance at Nike's The Opening, accolades for Sweat will only continue to roll in.

The 6-foot-5, 240-pounder clocked a time of 4.46 seconds in the 40, faster than many offensive skill players.

That's also a faster time than former No. 1 recruit Jadeveon Clowney, who was only slightly larger than Sweat when he was a senior at South Pointe (Rock Hill, S.C.).

According to 247Sports, Sweat is the No. 2 overall recruit in the 247Sports Composite Rankings. His Crystal Ball indicates Virginia Tech, Florida State, Ohio State and Tennessee are all in the mix to land him.
