Volleyball Recap: Laughlin Wins Going Away Against Sandy Valley

Laughlin won the last time they faced Sandy Valley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sidewinders.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Laughlin took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-7, 25-13.

Laughlin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Sandy Valley, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Laughlin is set to take on their familiar foe Word of Life Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sandy Valley will challenge rival Mountain View Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
