McLean is 10-0 against Groom since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The McLean Tigers will challenge the Groom Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

McLean is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering White Deer just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 54-43 to the Bucks. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Tigers came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 358th, while the Bucks are ranked 851st).

Meanwhile, Groom ended up a good deal behind Shamrock on Friday and lost 49-30.

McLean's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 22-4. As for Groom, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Everything came up roses for McLean against Groom in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 73-17 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for McLean since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
