Basketball Game Preview: Oakridge Eagles vs. Ludington Orioles

Oakridge is 0-7 against Ludington since December of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Oakridge Eagles will challenge the Ludington Orioles at 7:00 p.m. Ludington took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Oakridge, who comes in off a win.

Oakridge will bounce into Friday's game after beating Montague, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Oakridge simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Montague 77-47. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Ludington came up short against Cadillac last Monday and fell 57-45. The Orioles haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Oakridge has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Ludington, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Oakridge came up short against Ludington in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 72-59. Can Oakridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
