Volleyball Recap: Clinton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Clinton proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Sumter Gamecocks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Devils have posted since October 17, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Clinton who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 23-25, 15-12.

Clinton has already played their next game (against Cheraw), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sumter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Cardinal Newman on the 20th.
