Basketball Recap: Trinity Has No Trouble Against Gilmour Academy

Trinity won the last time they faced Gilmour Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans strolled past the Lancers with points to spare, taking the game 57-41.

Jaila Wiggins had a dynamite game, dropping a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Those 19 points gave her a new career-high. Kanora Bryant was another key player, going 5-for-11 on her way to 11 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

The victory got Trinity back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will challenge John Hay at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Gilmour Academy, they will face off against John F. Kennedy Catholic at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
