Football Recap: Whitney Wildcats vs. Crean Lutheran Saints
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Whitney's offense. They were dealt a 38-0 defeat at the hands of the Crean Lutheran Saints on Tuesday. The loss leaves the Wildcats without a win on the season.
Crean Lutheran found their leader in underclassman Ellie Hordyk, who rushed for 92 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries. Those 92 rushing yards gave Hordyk a new career-high. Grace Nichol made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Whitney's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Crean Lutheran, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-8.
