Volleyball Recap: Quincy Takes a Loss

Quincy was the 3-0 winner over Marshfield when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Presidents fell 3-1 to the Rams on Wednesday.

Quincy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-12.

Quincy's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Marshfield, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Coming up, Quincy will host Norwell at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Marshfield, they will face off against Hingham at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
