Football Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee lost against Southside back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Generals fell 31-19 to the Panthers.

Jamel Boyd had a dynamite game For Southside., rushing for 169 yards and four touchdowns. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Boyd a new career-high.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Southside, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lee is set to challenge their familiar foe Buckhorn at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. Meanwhile, Southside will square off against rival Fort Payne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
