Football Recap: Washington-Liberty Generals vs. Bishop O'Connell Knights
Washington-Liberty gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They breezed past the Bishop O'Connell Knights to the tune of 55-22. Given the Generals' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Knights are ranked 210th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Washington-Liberty didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Bishop O'Connell to a completion percentage of just 47.6%.
