Volleyball Recap: Pueblo Takes a Loss

Pueblo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Catalina Foothills Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 8th.

While Pueblo ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-17.

Pueblo's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Catalina Foothills, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 24-11 record this season.

Pueblo will face off against Cholla at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Catalina Foothills, they will take on Buena at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
