Softball Recap: Casa Roble Comes Up Short

Casa Roble was the 9-2 winner over Twelve Bridges when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Casa Roble Rams fell 6-2 to the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos on Thursday.

Melanie Stephens made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Gonzales, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Casa Roble now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Twelve Bridges, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Casa Roble will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodcreek at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Twelve Bridges, they will venture away from home to face off against Granite Bay at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
