Volleyball Recap: Central Falls to Springstead in First Game of Season

Central had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Springstead Eagles on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-19, 25-5.

Mackenna Chambers was a one-woman wrecking crew For Springstead. as she had 16 digs and one block. Chambers is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Hernando on the 20th. As for Springstead, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Wiregrass Ranch on the 19th.
