United extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They came out on top against the Boerne Greyhounds by a score of 2-0. The Longhorns have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Greyhounds, too.

Camila Santos paced United's offense, picking up six kills. Santos got some help from Alexandra Medrano and her 12 assists. Medrano was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

As for Boerne, they now have a losing record of 1-2. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

When it comes to explaining why Boerne lost, don't look at Haley Wheeler. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and two aces.

United didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against O'Connor on the 15th. As for Boerne, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against San Antonio Christian on the 15th.
