Rockwall Gets a Boost from Rickert in 49-42 Victory
Starting off the list is Rockwall's Brent Rickert, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Rickert threw for 254 yards and six touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes. Underclassman Carter Zahm came into Friday's contest looking to prove himself and that's exactly what he did. Nobody could stop he on Friday as he rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 61 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Rockwall-Heath's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. Zahm and Rockwall-Heath will be playing at home against Longview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
