Lincoln North Star faced Lincoln Southwest in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Navigators came out on top against the Silver Hawks by a score of 3-1. The win was nothing new for the Navigators as they're now sitting on five straight.

Lincoln North Star found their leader in sophomore Marie Paneitz, who had 14 digs and four assists.

When it comes to explaining why Lincoln Southwest lost, don't look at Jadyn Hazzard. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and one assist. Hazzard is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Lincoln North Star's victory bumped their record up to 28-4. As for Lincoln Southwest, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 21-9.
