Softball Preview: Warhill Lions vs. Bruton Panthers
Warhill is a perfect 10-0 against Bruton since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lions will host the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Warhill's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Tabb with a sharp 14-0 win. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.
Skyler Wilson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-6 with two runs and one double.
