Volleyball Recap: Shenandoah Baptist Academy Starts Season with Victory Against Philadelphia Christian School

Shenandoah Baptist Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Philadelphia Christian School Eagles by a score of 3-1. For Shenandoah Baptist Academy, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win Philadelphia Christian School walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 19-25, 26-24.

Despite the defeat, Philadelphia Christian School saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Peyton Smith had six aces.

Philadelphia Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shenandoah Baptist Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Seymour Community Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on September 19. As for Philadelphia Christian School, they will challenge North Georgia Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
