It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Morris can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers on Tuesday. Morris' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

While Morris was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18.

Tessa Shannon paced Morris' offense, picking up nine kills. Shannon got some help from Alexis Williams and her 11 assists.

Leading LaSalle-Peru to victory were Karmen Piano and Emma Jereb. Piano had ten digs, while Jereb had 11 assists.

Morris' loss dropped their record down to 30-7. As for LaSalle-Peru, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 32-5.

Morris does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for LaSalle-Peru, they will welcome Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
