Volleyball Game Preview: Kennedy Commanders vs. Denver North Vikings + Official Tickets

The Kennedy Commanders are taking a road trip to challenge the Denver North Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Kennedy is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Alameda just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates.

Kennedy actually scored more points across those four sets (91-87), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 11-25, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Denver North and Denver South faced off in a cross-town battle on Tuesday. The Vikings came up short against the Ravens, falling 3-0. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Ravens recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

While Denver North was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 27-25, 25-13.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Denver North, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Kennedy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Denver North when the teams last played back in October of 2023. Can the Commanders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
