Game recap: Bellevue High School Football Team tops Shadle Park

SPOKANE, Wash. - Bellevue (Wash.) put an additional 21 points on the board on top of its 44-point lead going into the fourth quarter to beat out Shadle Park (Spokane, Wash.) 65-0.

After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, the Wolverines were up 52-0 at the half.

The loss snapped Shadle Park's 11-game winning streak.

Bellevue's most effective player was Mustafa Branch. The junior halfback ran for three touchdowns.



Led by Budda Baker, BHS had given up an average of 8.7 points prior to the contest. Shadle Park's zero points were below their season average of 4.8 per game. Shadle Park came in surrendering 17.8 points per game this season.

The loss comes after Shadle Park defeated Kamiakin 34-16 last week.
