Eagle Rock is 9-1 against Marshall since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Barristers at 3:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Eagle Rock proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by six) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Bishop Alemany 3-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won four contests in a row.

Meanwhile, Marshall put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Marquez.

Marshall saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Saucedo, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Marshall's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Eagle Rock, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Eagle Rock beat Marshall 3-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Barristers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
