Baseball Recap: New Richmond Comes Up Short

New Richmond has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.13 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eau Claire North Huskies. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 5-0.

This is the second loss in a row for New Richmond and nudges their season record down to 13-2. As for Eau Claire North, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.

New Richmond didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 17-7 loss against Somerset on the 10th. Eau Claire North has also already played their next contest (against Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
