Softball Recap: White Oak Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sabine last Wednesday, White Oak came back down to earth. The White Oak Roughnecks lost 15-5 to the Arp Tigers on Tuesday. The Roughnecks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

White Oak's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-8-1. As for Arp, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.

While White Oak had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
