Volleyball Recap: Washington County Gets the Win

After losing to North Hardin the last time they met, Washington County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Commanders walked away with a 3-1 win over the Trojans on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Commanders.

While Washington County might've won, it sure wasn't easy: North Hardin scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 20-25, 25-20.

Hailey Rose Mcilvoy paced Washington County's offense, picking up nine kills. Mcilvoy got some help from Kate Smith and her 25 assists. Hailey Willis controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Washington County's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for North Hardin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-23 record this season.

As of now, neither Washington County nor North Hardin have any future games scheduled.
