Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holt). They blew past the Everett Vikings, posting an 85-8 win. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Vikings are ranked 543rd), the result on Wednesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Holt is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.5 points over those games. Everett dropped their record down to 1-13 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Holt will challenge Fowler at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Fowler will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Holt surely won't give up without a fight. Everett has already played their next game (against Grand Ledge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
