Basketball Recap: South Panola Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

On Friday, the South Panola Tigers earned a 73-64 win over the Caldwell County Tigers. Given South Panola's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 50th in Mississippi, while Caldwell County is ranked 168th in Kentucky), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Panola is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Caldwell County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
