Softball Recap: Horizon Takes a Loss

Horizon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Americas Trail Blazers. If the Scorpions were looking for revenge after losing 13-3 to the Trail Blazers when the teams met back in February of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Americas, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-13.

Horizon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 14-11 defeat against Bel Air on the 29th. As for Americas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-0 victory against Parkland on the 29th.
