Baseball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

Augusta lost against Whitehall back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Beavers came up short against the Norse, falling 12-2. The Beavers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Augusta saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Lee, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Augusta now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Whitehall, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Augusta will venture away from home to face off against Loyal at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Whitehall, they will head out to challenge Independence/Gilmanton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
