It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tri-County Academy can now relate to. They and Leake Academy were almost perfectly matched up on Thursday, but they suffered a 25-24 loss. Tri-County Academy's defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

George Wilcox had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 162 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 219 yards and one touchdown for Leake Academy. Those 162 rushing yards gave Wilcox a new career-high.

Tri-County Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Leake Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

As of now, neither Tri-County Academy nor Leake Academy have any future games scheduled.
