Volleyball Recap: Prosper Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Prosper and McKinney Boyd had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Broncos on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Prosper ultimately came up short, they really made McKinney Boyd work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 23-25, 26-24.

Prosper dropped their record down to 14-15 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for McKinney Boyd, their win ended a six-match drought on the road and puts them at 11-14.

Coincidentally, Prosper and McKinney Boyd will both be playing Plano East the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Broncos will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
