Basketball Recap: Commonwealth Academy vs. Barrie
Commonwealth Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost to Barrie on the road by a 36-18 margin on Wednesday. Commonwealth Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.
Barrie found their leader in sophomore Brandon Adams, Jr., who posted 13 points and seven blocks. Another player making a difference was Rawle Tapper-Howard, who put up four points along with five assists and three steals.
Barrie pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
Commonwealth Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on The Lab School of Washington at 5:30 p.m. on February 18th. As for Barrie, they will be playing at home against Siena at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
