Baseball Recap: Tipton Comes Up Short

Tipton started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Logansport. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Berries on Tuesday.

Tipton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Nasser, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Aidan Borders also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Tipton's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Logansport, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

While Tipton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
