Garden Plain is a perfect 10-0 against Douglass since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Owls will square off against the Bulldogs. Garden Plain will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Garden Plain didn't have too much trouble with Clearwater as they won 23-6.

It was another big night for Emrick Hays, who rushed for 93 yards and a pair of scores. Carter Baker was in the mix as well, providing Garden Plain with one TD.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Garden Plain proved: they limited Clearwater to a paltry 2.9 yards per carry. While two picked up at least ten total tackles, Hays stood above the rest. He rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns. Garden Plain's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.1.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Douglass, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Belle Plaine 48-8. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Garden Plain's record now sits at 7-1. As for Douglass, their record is now 3-5.

Everything came up roses for Garden Plain against Douglass in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as the squad secured a 49-0 win. Do the Owls have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
