Courtland is a perfect 10-0 against James Monroe since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cougars will look to defend their home field against the Yellow Jackets at 4:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

While Courtland's win against Chancellor wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars never let the Chargers get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Thursday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, James Monroe lost 11-1 to Culpeper County on Thursday.

James Monroe's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Courtland, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Everything went Courtland's way against James Monroe in their previous matchup back in April, as Courtland made off with a 13-3 win. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Yellow Jackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
