Battery Creek is 9-1 against Whale Branch since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Dolphins will be playing at home against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Battery Creek has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Battery Creek fell victim to Oceanside Collegiate Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Landsharks. The Dolphins have struggled against the Landsharks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Whale Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Barnwell.

Whale Branch saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hezekiah Morrall, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Morrall also put up two doubles, which were his first of the season. Javaree Bartley was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Whale Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Battery Creek, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3.

Everything went Battery Creek's way against Whale Branch in their previous matchup back in April of 2023, as Battery Creek made off with a 13-0 victory. Do the Dolphins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
