Wellsville was the 43-37 winner over Toronto when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wellsville Tigers fell to the Toronto Red Knights 36-30. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Toronto's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tatum Derrington, who posted eight points along with 13 rebounds and five assists. Derrington has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Jayna Reeves was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Wellsville's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Toronto, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Wellsville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-39 victory against Southern on the 23rd. As for Toronto, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 43-37 defeat against Madonna on the 23rd.
