Avon waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Berea-Midpark Titans, sneaking past 45-42. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 60-47 loss the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Avon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Audrey Lammers, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 10 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alaina Pagan, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Avon's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. As for Berea-Midpark, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Avon will take on Midview at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Avon is facing Midview at the right time seeing as Midview is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Berea-Midpark, they will square off against North Ridgeville at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
