            Softball Recap: Cordova Lancers vs. Christian Brothers Falcons        
        
		
        
        
            Cordova was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They fell  10-5 to the Christian Brothers Falcons. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in May of 2015.
  T'Lou O'Daol was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-3 with one  home run. That  home run was  her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Sarah-Irene Njuki, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
Cordova's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Christian Brothers, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.
 Coming up, Cordova will take on Rosemont at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Rosemont has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.8  runs per game on average), something Cordova will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Christian Brothers, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Johnson  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Johnson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5  runs per game  this season.
