Basketball Game Preview: Osborn Wildcats vs. Mound City Panthers

Last Friday, Osborn took a blow against Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt], falling 77-18. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Mound City didn't have too much trouble with East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] on Friday as they won 52-37.

Mound City has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Osborn, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Osborn beat Mound City 43-33 when the teams last played back in January of 2020. Does Osborn have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mound City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
