Volleyball Recap: Flowing Wells Comes Up Short

Flowing Wells saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions.

Daniel Coronado paced Flowing Wells' offense, picking up nine kills. Coronado were helped by Luis Valdez and Chris Anaya-Ashe, who contributed six assists each.

Flowing Wells' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Flowing Wells didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Tucson High Magnet School on the 7th. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against St. Augustine Catholic on the 7th.
