It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Coppell had no problem doing just that on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand The Woodlands a 3-0 shutout. Considering Coppell have won 15 contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit The Woodlands with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jordan Clig, Neerali Kapadia, and Emeline Holder.

The win was the fifth in a row for Coppell, bringing their record up to 21-2-3. As for The Woodlands, they moved to 23-2-1 with that defeat, which also ended their 23-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Coppell nor the Highlanders have any future games scheduled.
