Basketball Recap: St. Vincent De Paul Academy's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

St. Vincent de Paul Academy can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against Ozanam by a score of 51-44.

St. Vincent de Paul Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but George Spencer led the charge by going 7 of 14 on his way to 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Leo Hodal, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

St. Vincent de Paul Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Ozanam lost, don't look at Damontae Balmat. Despite the final result, he posted 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Fallert, who had four points in addition to five boards and three steals.
