Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Joeisha Ryan Tirado: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also rushed for 17 yards, but sadly Valley Center still had to take a 41-28 loss at the hands of Bishop. We hope Friday's contest is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Looking ahead, Ryan Tirado and Valley Center will take on Santa Fe Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will enter the matchup having just beaten Madison, so the Jaguars will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
