            Football Recap: Fairfax Stampede vs. Willow Canyon Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            After soaring to 61  points the game before, Fairfax was a bit more limited  in their  match  on Friday. They fell  14-6 to the Willow Canyon Wildcats. While the Stampede had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Wildcats  6-0.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Willow Canyon to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Korry Burns, who rushed for 88 yards and one  TD. Those  88  rushing yards gave  Burns a new career-high. Willow Canyon also got a significant boost from  Tate Callan, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 80 yards.
Fairfax now  has a losing record of 1-2. As for Willow Canyon,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfax will face off against Tolleson at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Stampede will need to watch out since the Wolverines have now posted at least 31  points  every time they've taken the field this season. As for Willow Canyon, they will take on Browne at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
